The Political Party is a collaborative event from Penn Leads the Vote and Penn Political Review. With 2012’s Presidential Election quickly approaching, PLTV and PPR see New Student Orientation to be the optimal time to educate the freshmen class, and even upperclassmen, on how to become politically involved. The Political Party will have food and Red, White, and Blue themed desserts for students to enjoy and patriotic music thumping, in addition to political and election themed games (Pin the Tail on the Donkey/Elephant, anyone?). The NSO Late Night will also serve as a launch event for both PLTV’s video campaign and PPR’s summer issue. Come register to vote, play some games, and win some prizes; it’s your civic duty.
